Okay, the foolishness of the Weblog Awards is finally over! And Pursuing Holiness is… NOT LAST! Yay! Okay, it’s silly to get all competitive over this; and as a commenter pointed out, there is that little issue of the sin of pride going on here. (It’s also been a very welcome distraction from all the medical problems of the last two weeks, so I’m grateful for that. Now if we could just get a recount or something to last me until my husband’s biopsy results come back!) I did not expect to win (and frankly didn’t deserve to) but I was hoping for “not last” so I’m very happy that’s what I got. And luckily, Ace won his category so Dick Cheney won’t be killing any more kittens…
As expected, the top two for religious blogs were the Evangelical Outpost and Jay Adkins – both deserving of the top prize although the Outpost got it this go-around. Congrats to both!

Let us call it commendation and not competition.
It is good for others to commend your good works.
Congratulations to all the winners.
God bless.
