Recent Changes

Just a few administrative notes… There have been a few recent changes to the blog, with my upgrade to Wordpress 2.0.
After emailing back and forth with the Christian Blogger’s administrator, I added a scroll bar to my Christian Bloggers blogroll. I wanted to do that for a long time; I know quite a few folks on the list use Javascript to hide the entire list, which didn’t seem fair to me - so many of us gave up valuable home page real estate to include the entire list, while others do not provide the same level of exposure to the rest… it kind of felt like obeying the letter of the law but not the spirit of the law to have it technically on the home page but not visible. As it turns out, I was engaging in legalism. 
After the email exchange I learned that is perfectly acceptable to Javascript or scrollbar the list, so I have… If you care about your Ecosystem rank, the scrollbar has no effect, it’s still a home page link. I assume it’s the same for Javascript techniques to hide the list.
I added Forward Operations in the Culture War - links to news stories provided by RightFaith in a blogroll format, also scrollable because the list is kind of long. Check out RightFaith’s blog to see how to add it to your blog.
New categories: Cat blogging, and Christian Persecution. I recently started blogging for the persecuted church - the link on the left is to The Persecution Blog, which I read regularly to remind me to pray for Christians who risk their life and limb for the faith. Look for those posts about once a week.
