If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been…

God has blessed me (although just at the moment it doesn’t feel like a blessing because I feel kind of overwhelmed) with so much work that I’d need an additional ten hours a day to get it done on time. I have 15 projects in my queue right now, which will make my bank account very happy before too much longer. But I miss the guys that worked with me before Katrina – Three Cords went from being a three person company to a one person company overnight. One is still working with me occasionally but he has a day job and not much time; he’s fitting my work in around other things. (For which I am grateful! don’t get me wrong. I just wish I had more of his time.) Right now I’m a bit too tired and sick to be very glad for the new work; I’m recovering from the flu or a cold or something and still working 16 hour days. Still, God is good as always, and since these clients are coming to me without any advertising or effort on my part, I’m very grateful for that. Or, I will be as soon as my fever breaks and I’m feeling human again.

I’ve also started a nifty new bible study called The Lord’s Table at Setting Captives Free. The courses are free, and you are assigned a mentor who checks your work daily and emails you about it – it’s kind of nice to have the accountability and also someone to direct my questions to.
