OT - Getting Off The Hamster Wheel! Edition

Since Katrina, it feels like we’ve been on this hamster wheel… working hard, usually seven days a week, but not getting anywhere. Like just about everyone else we know, we’re getting exhausted and sick and ineffective.
We finally decided to take a break and made reservations at a B&B upstate. (The Daughter of the House will be out of town at a worship conference.) It’ll be sooo nice to not look at the wreckage and FEMA trailers for a few days, and to get away from the computer. A suite, with a jacuzzi for two, at a place on a lake. Canoe and fishing poles are provided and they have a game room with a dart board and pool table. I can’t wait!! Doesn’t it look fabulous?
