The Best Laid Plans

Well, my plans, upon returning to New Orleans, were to post how the trip went, and pAnd it did go well, overall. It was stressful having the Daughter of the House out of state when this recent terror plot was exposed. And to add injury to insult (literally) a shoulder injury she received at last year’s youth came - separated AC joint - is back with a vengeance. So she spent the last night of her trip in the ER.
So instead of calmly catching up on email - over 200 - and work, I’m scrambling to get her in to see an orthopaedic specialist in a city that is drastically short of medical professionals and facilities.
