OT – Dancing In The Streets Edition

I was standing in line at a clothing store, with Marvin Gaye’s “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” on the store’s music system. I realized two things. First, that I was semi-dancing. Foot tapping, swaying, jiving a bit to the music, as much as a thirtysomething woman with no rhythm is capable of such things. Second, that at least half the other people in line were doing the same thing.

I love New Orleans. I’ve never lived in another city where that kind of behavior is natural and usually goes unnoticed.
