Vacation – Day 1

Well, okay, vacation is probably a strong word. We loaded the Daughter Of The House onto her flight to Baltimore this morning where she is attending a conference for a couple of days. She’s only 16 and under other circumstances we would not have let her go, but about 30 people we know are going to be at the same conference and she’ll be with them all the time, probably better supervised than she is at home.

I’m going to play hooky from work for 2.5 days – from lunchtime today until Friday. Whoo hoo! In the meantime, I’ll have open trackbacks every day, so knock yourselves out. When I return, spam will be deleted and legit trackbacks will be added to the body of the posts, if you care about your Ecosystem rankings. The posts will be done in advance – I don’t even if there’s internet where we’re going because I didn’t ask. Time to UNPLUG! Can’t wait – we’ve been working six or seven days a week since Katrina. I’ve taken a few sick days, but that’s it. The Man Of The House has been pretty sick recently, so this break is just what we need.

In the meantime, this video is NOT the treatment the DOTH received on her flights to Baltimore, but it sure does look good!
