    I did a double take when I saw this on another website, and started to leave a comment to the effect of, Hey, what’s wrong with my town?!

    Laura,
    I think the mayor of *every* town is like that. :-) Maybe it’s a politician thing. MN looks beautiful from the pics I’ve seen, looks like a great place to vacation. (I’m not a beach person *at all* – I like the woods.)
