The Vicodin does work pretty well - I actually slept decently last night, usually pain keeps me up. When I asked my doc about getting addicted he said, "Doesn't matter, you'll be on it the rest of your life anyway." ?! I can't accept that. But I'll let it ride for now. Now if my hair would just stop falling out, I'd be all set. :-)

The Vicodin works well... I have a friend who broke his back 16 years ago on his way home from a S. Dakota deer hunt (major automobile rollover and through the windshield). He uses it on bad days, but it is very addictive in large dosages.

Best to you for a speedy improvement. :-)

I was the same way the day after I had to have emergency surgery last April. Along with my engagement and wedding ring, my husband has given me rings for each of our 3 kids, a promise ring and one for our first valentines. Hope both of you feel better soon!
