Well, that’s one argument settled. One less reason to kill babies, or if you prefer, embryos, or “humans in waiting.” Oh, and by the way – embryonic stem cell research has not led to a single cure or treatment while adult stem cell research has led to many. So what little justification these folks had, has just taken a Chuck Norris style roundhouse kick to the head. Hah!

It doesn’t seem to matter, Harkin is saying that it won’t impact their vote on stem cell since embryonic stem cell is established and this new process is not. Even though there has been no medical breakthroughs with embryonic stem cells.
They are not babies until they are born, no matter how long they languish in the womb.
