Some might wonder how calling someone a scumbag is consistent with Christianity, meekness, turning the other cheek, etc.
Perhaps it isn’t kind, and someday maybe I’ll wish I hadn’t, though that seems very unlikely. But it’s truthful. And a good deal milder than what I would have said a few years ago.

Saying “scumbag” was nice. I’m sure there’s lots worse things that could have been said that were also true. Jesus called the pharisees snakes and vipers, so He wasn’t above telling it like it is in a metaphorical sense.
I guess the reason I feel (somewhat) bad about it is that I’m devoting this much emotion to a worldly, political issue.
Imagine if I devoted this much passion to the cause of furthering God’s kingdom!! During this dry time I’m in, I can’t seem to do it. But I’m praying I will be able to soon.
