An Answer from God

I haven’t been posting much lately on spiritual matters; to the point that it’s occurred to me that I ought to rename the blog “Pursuing Politics.” 
Well, I’m still pursuing holiness in daily life, I just haven’t had anything I’ve wanted to write about on that topic. Recently I wrote,
Why do I care about this stuff at this particular point in time? Because something I have wanted for many years just entered the realm of possibility. I’ve wanted it with my flesh, without regard to what God’s will was. Suddenly The Man does a 180 and agrees, because he’s pretty darn sure he heard from God about it. But over the years, I’ve also wised up a bit - enough to learn that if God doesn’t want it, I don’t either. So I’ve “put out a fleece,” and asked for the impossible as a confirmation that this is really God’s will. I’ve never done it before - asking God for deliverance from the hangover while you miserably clutch the toilet doesn’t count, especially because I wasn’t saved then anyway
The miraculous did occur. We’ve had all kinds of confirmation all over the place. I’m awestruck and beyond excited. And sometime in the next few months I’ll spill the details on what God is doing. I’d like to shout it from the rooftops right now, but it’s not time for that yet. One thing is sure; I’ll be selling my web development business during the next year and moving on to something completely different. More challenging, and far more profitable in the really long term - by that I mean eternity.

I’ve been praying for you about this daily, and this morning I was thinking I ought to e-mail you and ask. I had to drive my wife to work first, and when I returned, here’s this post.
