Time Flies

My daughter is in the other room with a couple of her friends that I’ve known for years. They’re giggling and having a great time like they have a thousand times before… except this time they’re also listening to the plans for one of the girl’s upcoming wedding.
Where did the time go?
I ask myself that everyday. I’m turning 25 this year. 25! I remember being 12 and getting into the state fair with the kid’s admission price. I remember my 16th birthday party like it was yesterday. But now…I’m a grown up! How did this happen?
Sneaks up on us all, huh? Well, there are benefits, too… I was just surprised by it.
