Former Bush supporters peeling off their bumper stickers:
Click the images to read the reasons why – each has more than one, but illegal immigration is front and center.
I didn’t have any to peel off – I avoid political stickers. I have an anti-UN sticker, “There’s no place like 127.0.0.1″ and “Buy Local, Buy NOLA.” If I had one, I’d be thinking about peeling it. In spite of the fact that I think he has the right overall idea on the war – that we must fight it – it is getting harder and harder to defend him – between his major missteps on the war, his failure to attempt to persuade the public why the war is necessary, to combat the media’s negativity, his failure to “sell” Social Security reform to a public who just didn’t understand it, his failure to prosecute Sandy Berger…
He’s shown more energy defending his pro-Mexico immigration policy than just about anything else in his administration. Given that, I wonder what we should conclude about President Bush and his real priorities?
