Who else is blogging on global cooling?
Political Friends has a comprehensive article and writes, “I wanted to point out this article because it illustrates one important thing: How much consensus isn’t present in global warming. … Humans simply don’t know enough about our environment to begin passing laws regulating industry with the hopes of changing a 1 degree temperature over 100 years.”
PJ Maximum points out, “The socialist/communist era has died a slow death and those same socialist/communistic minded people are now moving into environmentalism to achieve the same goals, only this time with the peoples support, under the guise of saving the world from snowflakes and sun rays.”
Lori_Z at debate, charity, debauchery is on the same page I was when I wrote, “Save the planet! Buy an SUV!” She writes, “We’ve been told ad nauseum for YEARS that carbon emissions and greenhouse gases cause horrific, apocalyptic warming. And if cooling, not warming, is now on the way, we will need to increase the heat, no? So, carbon emissions must be GOOD now, right?”
sugiero has an amusing cartoon.
Attack Machine has a category for the Green Scare, where the latest post is The coming freeze by Jim Bass. (Joseph C. Phillips, author of “He Talk Like A White Boy” also blogs at Attack Machine.)
Finally, over at Moonbattery, Van Helsing has a good idea:
Here’s an even better idea: since “the science of global climate change is still in its infancy,” and bureaucrats know far less than scientists do, maybe government should stop worrying about future weather altogether and stick to things they understand, like how to make us more dependent on them by strangling economic growth. But then, that’s what the global warming hoax is all about, isn’t it?
