Viva La Revolucion! - Updated to respond to useful idiot

This amusing play on the despicable Che logo that uneducated leftist twits use to glamorize a mass murdering psychopath is making the rounds. That’s Bobby Jindal, my next governor, and I pray that he’ll be the man to revolutionize Louisiana politics as he has promised to do. He ran largely on ethics reform, and beat out 11 opponents with over 50% of the vote, so there won’t be any runoff. He ran against Kathleen Blanco and lost in a runoff in 2003 when she reminded people upstate that a) he’s a brown person and a filthy furriner to boot, b) Catholic - eww!! and c) her last name is, after all, Blanco. Between Katrina and Rita, I think everyone figured out that maybe a change from “politics as usual” was in order.
We didn’t completely clean house, unfortunately - Aaron Broussard, of lying and crying on Meet the Press fame, got back in as Jefferson Parish president. We very nearly forced him into a runoff, which was a good accomplishment given that his only serious opponent was underfunded, unconnected, and uncharming. But it’s done now, and we’re unlikely to get rid of him ever if we couldn’t do it this time, unless Jindal’s new ethics reforms can get Broussard caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Still, with this election a lot of overall progress has been made, and I’m very hopeful for the future.
Today is a dark, nasty day, with ongoing thunderstorms and some street flooding. The canal near my house is very near the top. But in spite of the weather, in spite of the fact that my entire family is ill and we’re bundled up in blankets and taking Theraflu, it’s a good day. A new day.

Update: “Chantalle” you are a useful idiot. This is the truth about your evil, Stalin-worshiping, murdering hero. The fact that so many on the left glamorize this killer, who in fact stood for against * so much that the liberal left claims to believe devoutly. Your hero tortured and killed people. He killed people for being homosexuals. He killed dissidents. He set up a gulag. He was evil. As are Castro and Chavez, who enslave their people. But you go ahead and continue to worship him in the freedom and comfort of New York - tool.
