Beats Me…

The Right Angle @ HumanEvents.com – Every time the Republicans nominate a weak (or weakened) candidate, the party loses. It happened in 1976 with an out-of-gas Ford. It happened in 1992 with a burned-out Bush. It happened in 1996 with a cold Dole. It could happen again if the GOP nominates Mike, and the general electorate responds with dislike. If Christian Republicans have qualms with Giuliani, McCain and Romney, then it defies logic for these voters to bypass Thompson in favor of Huckabee. Thompson has never alienated Christian Republicans—so why is it that some “values voters” don’t seem to have any faith in him?
