Yesterday I learned that my husband’s cousin died of leukemia. She was a young Christian wife and the mother of a toddler. She fought hard for her life, undergoing treatment for several years including a bone marrow transplant. In the end, God took her home. Today, I received an email with a link to these videos: Rick Burgess of “Rick and Bubba” lost his young son, and the video is of Rick speaking at the baby’s funeral earlier this week. All the media buzz right now is on Heath Ledger’s death. And McQ takes note of the death of a far more accomplished young man.
Sooner or later it will be your turn, and mine. Today is the day we get to choose what people will say about us when we can no longer speak for ourselves.
