A Gracious Apology

January 4, 2008 by Laura | Trackback URI

This is what a real (non-political) apology looks like, and is a model for how Christians should apologize:
Joe Carter: “I am truly sorry…”

Contrast that with Huckabee chairman Ed Rollins’ disgraceful threats to knock Romney’s teeth out, and followup declaration to say that his statement was “taken out of context.” In what context does an angry threat (even if he had no intention to follow through) work?

Joe stumbled briefly, but ultimately he’s a class act, and it’s the campaign’s loss that he isn’t on full time anymore.
