Easier to Get Forgiveness Than Permission?
Based on the notion that it’s easier to get forgiveness than permission, and a real doubt that MM is going to ask anyone to take it down, I’ve swiped a copy of the great photoshop done by Malkin commenter Tennyson for my sidebar. It’s making the rounds, and I honestly don’t think they’ll mind. Barring any complaints from the owners, I’m going to leave it up through the election season, adding the occasional pertinent link.
As far as I’m concerned, the election is already lost in the sense that there’s no hope of a conservative winning. (Yes, even if McCain wins. He’s way out of bounds on immigration, clueless about the economy, a nightmare on free speech and other key issues. Which is not to say he won’t be better than either Democrat. He’ll just do less harm than they will.) So all that’s left to me at this point is sit back and enjoy the show. And I am.
