Cheating someone in business is obviously a sin, the same as cheating someone in any circumstance is a sin. As such, it’s an abomination. While we may profit in the short term, we’ve lost big in the long term. We are called to do business in a way that honors God. And when we do, that is his delight.
I am continually amazed at the thought that profit is evil as the media and the left would have us believe these days (especially if you are an energy related company). People seem to forget that even the smallest family works on the premise that they will make a profit and be able to go beyond subsistence living. Obviously this is too deep a thought for some folks though.
