Counterprotest against Phelps family turns vicious:
I’m delighted that they’ve never come around here, but if they ever did, I’d get a group together or if necessary go it alone, and protest against them.

I’m a Missouri Synod Lutheran from Topeka, and can tell you that living in the land of the Phelpses is frequently amusing. While they have never picketed my church, they have demonstrated several times in front of a big LCMS church in town, at a Methodist Church a few blocks north of mine, and at an Episcopal church that had a fire (never guess what they blamed the fire on). There’s no talking to them, because they will merely throw their twisted, out-of-context scripture quotes at you. We were amused by the liens recently placed against their law building and Church property.
