I guess the Sierra Club is spending too much time lobbying Congress and busily ignoring the very real damage to habitat that illegal immigration causes.
The NY Times tries to smack John McCain around yet again (I’m starting to wonder if this is some kind of Rovian plot to get conservatives to like McAmnesty) and the Sierra Club provides an assist. Sadly, they have no Google-fu and seem unaware of the fact that they thought McCain’s actions were just keen way back in 1990 when Maverick wasn’t running for President. Hot Air caught them at it:
So in October 1990, the Sierra Club lauded McCain for his work on these expansions. In 2008, they try to smear him with them, working with Rutenberg to do so. Niiiiiiice.
