WaPo profiles on several new Democrats. And they’re all idiots. Not idiots for being Democrats, just idiots in their own special ways. The first guy believes, “”George Bush cheated in both elections, and Congress should all be thrown out,” he said.” Riiight. Furthermore, he’s chosen to pay for medical treatment for an on the job injury. WaPo is careful to note that he’s uninsured, but fails to observe that an on the job injury is paid for by Workers Compensation – not an optional benefit, unless you’re a Democratic former comedian running for Senate.
The next girl “wanted to vote for lower gas prices. She wanted to vote for Obama.” Tough choice, indeed. Oh, wait! She thinks a vote for Obama is a vote for lower gas prices? Good luck with that one, sweetie.
Next we have the “lifelong Republican” who is going to vote for Hillary. WaPo is careful to select an uninformed person who thinks Obama’s name is “Embawa” instead of one of the many well-informed Republicans who is going to vote against John McCain. Many people feel it would be better to have someone in the opposition party in the White House than someone in our party who will work to move the opposition agenda forward. This new Democrat believes incorrect things about Obama, such as that he refuses to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, and for the trifecta of WaPo hit pieces, they made him look like a xenophobe and hypocrite too! Well played.
Bad judgment, foolish and emotion-driven, and uninformed. Maybe WaPo selected well after all.
