Bad Move On Krugman’s Part

September 30, 2008 by Laura · Leave a Comment

Another advocacy journalist outs himself. Paul Krugman isn’t interested in a fair debate on the facts of socialized health care. When he tries to poll a group of Canadians about their satisfaction with their health care system and learns they think it’s terrible, he ruefully says, “Bad move on my part.” Read more

At Gateway Pundit, Iranian Minister Admits Oxford Diploma With Misspellings Was Not Real:

The new Iranian Interior Minister More Ali Kordan admitted today that he had peddled a bogus Oxford Diploma to the press. Copies of the diploma, with misspellings and garbled wording, were distributed to the Iranian media after his promotion to Interior Minister.

However, he’s not concerned about losing his job over the deception, because he’s about to strike it rich after assisting a beleaugered African government official transfer money into his bank account.

She thanked me for my opinion and quickly hung up.

Or a serious crisis that must be addressed immediately?  I don’t want to go through a Depression.  But even if we do, we will still be light years ahead of most of the rest of the world in terms of wealth and lifestyle.  Our poor are incredibly wealthy compared to how most of the rest of the world lives.  So if we have another Depression, so be it.  It really won’t be the end of the world; life will go on just as it always has during times of poverty, disease, and war.  People have suffered far more than we will if “the worst” happens. Enough of the politics already!

September 29, 2008 by Laura · 3 Comments

I’m purposely avoiding politics because I’m so frustrated and angry about what’s going on. A pox on both their houses. I’m eating something artery clogging for lunch, and before I take the afternoon off to take care of personal business, I’m just fooling around. Read more
