How stupid and desperate are the media to slam Palin? This stupid: MM’s post, Now, it’s her hair includes a quote from an article by some deranged reporter suggesting that, due to her hair style,
Palin looks one humid day away from fronting a Kiss cover band.
A KISS cover band would be comprised of men, you idiot. If, based on appearance, she was going to front for a 70s era cover band, it would more likely be one performing Fleetwood Mac tunes, since she looks a lot more like Stevie Nicks than Gene Simmons. Honestly, this is just sad; they can’t even get their insults right.
This sort of foolishness is as bad as the garbage a few cranks on the right have come up with about Obama, such as his qualifications to be the Antichrist. (For the record: Obama is just as unqualified to be the Antichrist as he is to be the President.) The difference is, this isn’t an anonymous email being forwarded by some unthinking hyperpartisans, or even a blog post. This garbage is being generated by the supposedly professional media.
What we have here is a reprise of 1930s Germany and Vichy France, where children would turn in their parents and other French people were killing their countrymen.
Today, the National Organization of LIBERAL Women commend any woman who has a conservative agenda; the NAALiberalCP condemns any black conservative as well. Thus, we have smears on a Clarence Thomas, a Colin Powell, a Condaleeza Rice and now Sarah Palin.
They of course defend this tripe with women shouldn’t support a candidate just because she’s a woman. But I guess it is qualifications based that well over 95% of blacks are supporting Obama.
Were Sara Palin a transgendered liberal feminist, I am quite sure that NOW and Emily’s List would be fawning all over her.
Because she is not, well that allows all of them to attack her daughter and the “choices” that she and her daughter have made. To think, they both chose to give birth to the life they were carrying, rather than flush them down the toilet.
