I’m teaching today.

Pity my poor students. I haven’t taught in about four years, but I made arrangements with a training company to teach a class from time to time because I don’t want to get too rusty. And today’s my first day.
I have a Master Instructor certification from Microsoft (which along with a few bucks will get you a ride on the streetcar) and I used to teach full time. I don’t want to do that again; it’s exhausting, but I’m up for a few days a month. I think.
I’ve got some timed posts set up and I’ll be posting during lunch, unless I’m curled up in the fetal position being kicked and beaten by dissatisfied students. I’m still avoiding politics for the most part. I had to listen to an extended rant from my mother, of all people - she’s not even political - but now that her retirement is in jeopardy, she’s taking a healthy interest in the people who control the economy. Just the same, I’ve had my fill for the time being. I’ll watch the debate tonight, but that’s about it.
