YES!

October 6, 2008 by Laura | Trackback URI

It’s about time: McCain blasts Obama, Democrats for Fannie Mae meltdown.

Earlier today, I wrote, “GOP, you don’t need my money. You need a backbone.”

Yesterday, I wrote, “McCain doesn’t deserve to win because he refuses to fight for it.”

And a couple of days before that I wrote, “Mr. Straight Talk has utterly failed to tell the truth about what’s going on, because to do so would require him to buck his “friends” in the media and in Congress and really be the maverick he has played at being all these years. His failure is profound, in this moment that even he agrees is a critical moment in our history - in a wartime election where the outcome literally means the difference between winning and losing not just an election but a generational war. I mean it when I say he deserves to lose.”

I might be willing to reconsider those posts.

We’ll see how it goes at the debate, but things are definitely looking up.

Added: And why hasn’t McCain gotten teh Fred! out there on the campaign trail for him?  Remember, “Mental institution, Michael. Might be something you ought to think about.” ? We could use some of that between now and November 4th.

I was predicting that he would start up the attacks by next week if not sooner. He’s weak and deluded, but he isn’t stupid. Obviously his old strategy wasn’t working, so he realized he needed to change pace.

I guess he believes if a lie is big enough and repeated often enough it will be believed.

I love it. You hardly ever see presidential candidates anymore who are man enough to use the L-word. You may not have seen it yet, but O’Reilly also went ballistic on Barney Frank about this issue recently.

And I with you agree about Fred. He was definitely the best speaker at the Convention.
