A Confession

I confess it: I covet this:

Now, engineers at Battelle, a research and development firm based in Columbus, OH, have come up with a simpler way to send data through the air with millimeter-wave technology. Earlier this year, in field tests of a prototype point-to-point system, the team was able to send a 10.6-gigabit-per-second signal between antennas 800 meters apart. And more recently, the researchers demonstrated a 20-gigabit-per-second signal in the lab.

Twenty.  Gigabits.  Per second.

Yowza!  And I thought my Cox speed of about 15kbps was speedy.

I thought you meant that you coveted the confessional! Perhaps you had a place for it in your home as a decorator item, or some such. I was just really getting excited about reading what you were going to do with it.

:-) Sorry ’bout that, Doc. That confessional IS beautiful, although it’d never fit in my tiny house. I’m going to use it for an “I Confess” series.
