Kathleen Parker’s Hate For Sarah Palin Apparently Knows No Bounds

Kathleen Parker is apparently perfectly willing to stoop to any level if it means she gets to smear Sarah Palin. “It’s Not the Economy,” would be a much better fit at DKos or HuffPo.

“Palling around with terrorists,” as Sarah Palin said of Obama, gets to an underlying xenophobic, anti-Muslim sentiment. Using surrogates who strategically use Obama’s middle name, Hussein, feeds the same dark heart.

Hey, Kathleen? William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn ARE TERRORISTS. Sarah Palin was being perfectly factual, and she is entirely correct in bringing up the subject because it exposes Barack Obama’s serial dishonesty where these people are concerned.   It’s true that conservatives are frustrated with Hollywood’s ridiculous politically correct efforts to portray all terrorists as non-Muslims (replacing Muslim terrorists in Tom Clancy movies with neo-Nazis, for example) the fact remains that there are, in fact, non-Muslim terrorists.  We object to “polite society’s” failure to acknowledge that Muslim terrorists exist but we’ve never said that all terrorists are Muslims. William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn earned their terrorist designation.

As for “surrogates who strategically use Obama’s middle name,” please – name some names. Who in the McCain campaign is doing that?

As for this -

But the McCain-Palin bad cop-good cop routine is what it is. The hot babe lathers the crowd; the noble soldier hoses them down. This isn’t a campaign; it’s a sideshow.

I’m more disgusted with Kathleen Parker than I can say.  “Hot babe lathers the crowd?”  That is simply despicable; Sarah Palin is an extremely accomplished woman – the popular governor of a huge, energy producing state who has spent years making decisions that affect real people’s lives.  To describe her as “hot babe lathers the crowd” is profoundly sexist, and coming from another woman it is abhorrent.

The real sideshow is how quisling conservative pundits have decided to support Obama – even to the point of utilizing whatever meme the Obama campaign has latched onto, like “McCain is erratic,” – and are doing everything they can to take as many McCain votes as possible with them.

She wraps up her propaganda piece with the pathetic wish – shared by so many of her quisling pals – that Obama will turn out to have been lying all along about what he’ll do if elected:

They also will have been delivered with solemn prayers that Obama will govern as the centrist, pragmatic leader he is capable of being.

ADDED: Some moron sockpuppet keeps repeatedly posting arguments against Palin, claiming she’s unqualified, her son has a criminal record, and other lies. Yes, lies.

  1. I know all these comments are coming from one person – it’s the same IP address, you idiot.
  2. You’re not even making real arguments – just the same old Obamabot assertions with absolutely nothing to back it up, and most of this garbage is outright lies.
  3. Palin earned her positions as mayor and as governor, and has spent years making real decisions that affect real people’s lives – not just voting “Present.”
  4. When you’re stooping to outright lies and sneakiness like sockpuppeting in your opposition, that ought to clue you in that you’re wrong.  If the truth were on your side, that would be all you need.
  5. I marked every last one as “Spam.”  Good luck posting comments on blogs with Akismet spam protection from now on! You’ll need it.

The Muslim thing is overstated, but not entirely unfactual. Obama helped raise almost $1,000,000 for Raila Odinga, the socialist-islamist presidential candidate in Kenya. If elected, Odinga eventually pledged to implement Sharia law in Kenya. When Odinga later lost in a “close” election by 200,000 votes (although with debatable fraud), Odinga incited riots against the government that resulted in 500,000 people being displaced. And this happened within the last two years, not when Obama was eight.

Obama isn’t a Muslim, but he is definitely more New Ager than Christian. And he does seem to have pro-Islamist sympathies, too — which helps explain why Gaddafi, Hamas, Hezbollah, and Ahmadenijad have essentially endorsed him. It also explains why he reserves his strongest criticism for allies like the secularist Musharraf of Pakistan, and why he would raise almost $1,000,000 for a man like Odinga.
