About Laura
David Vitter's tele-town hall just robocalled me, and of course, I'm sticking around to listen to the bitter end. What's really hilarious is that every second or third question, the person also tosses in a slam against Mary Landrieu, commenting on her unresponsiveness especially with regard to the health care bill. If she were up for re-election this year, she'd be toast.
My son in law is leaving for Iraq today - please keep him and my daughter in your prayers. And blogging will be light, because after we bring him to his base, I'll be hanging out with my daughter the rest of the day.
Something interesting over at Moonbattery - Women attempting to pray in the male-only section of a mosque were threatened with arrest last week. You may be wondering what Middle Eastern craphole this happened in. Try Washington DC.

For years, commentators have been saying that the New Orleans Saints were so bad at playing football that hell would freeze over before they would ever win the Super Bowl. On Sunday, February 7, 2010 the Saints won the Super Bowl.
On that same Sunday, Washington D.C. was paralyzed under several feet of snow and the Federal Government was shut down.
Well, at least we know where hell is.
Can anyone provide an explanation why, Why, WHY the font in oft-forwarded, never-checked-with-Snopes, superstitious-guilt-tripping 'your babies will die a horrible death if you don't forward this to ten people in ten seconds' emails has to be so massive and colorful? Do people actually think it makes that tripe more convincing?
