It’s not just a matter of a conservative blog backlash against the media, as in the “Vet the media” post that garnered hundreds of comments over at AoSHQ. That is signficant in many ways, but blog readers are still a fairly small demographic. It’s your average Joe, who is a lot smarter than the media gives him credit for and can see how differently the media has treated Obama since Day One. And he’s mad about it:
That set off a general free-for-all. “I’m going to tell you something,” Munoz yelled at Corn. “I’m better than Obama. Why? Because I’m not associated with terrorists!”
Regardless of who the next president is, one thing is clear – the media has lost the control over the public dialog, is distrusted by most, and despised by many.
