I saw this at Weasel Zippers and clicked through to the Muslims Against Sharia Blog:
As an American Muslim, I am personally offended when I read about footbaths on public property, i.e., municipal airports, state colleges, etc. I think that the best way to combat these blatant Constitutional violations is by turning the aforementioned footbaths into urinals.
All I could think was, Wow. Good luck with that. Because you’re going to get charged with a hate crime if you’re caught at it. I certainly agree that we should put a stop to it if we can. I agree that taxpayer money should not fund them. But it might be better if Christians and people of other faiths start playing the same game as Muslims, seeking accommodations for everything, until institutions are overwhelmed and finally put a stop to all of it – Cloward-Piven style. While it’s not as fast and easy as peeing in a foot bath, I think it’s more likely to work, and certainly less likely to get you charged with a crime. Still, I’m glad to see that American Muslims are outraged:
Zuhdi Jasser, a Phoenix physician who serves as chairman of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, said he is surprised there has not been more outrage.
“Supreme Court cases have been heard on far less-obvious violations of our Establishment Clause,” Dr. Jasser said. “Many if not most American Muslims are currently well able to accommodate our own prayers and ablution to the spaces and facilities provided to all other faiths on public grounds without special accommodations. Islamists use the ‘free exercise’ clause when it suits them and then turn around and use tax monies in the name of Islam when it suits them.”
Dr. Jasser said the foot bath marks the start down “a slippery slope of preferential treatment of one religion over another,” which he said is what the First Amendment was established to prevent.
“These baths exert a monetary cost upon publicly funded institutions which by our Constitution should not appease the financial demands of one faith group over another,” he said. “Every other faith group on campus should be demanding that they be provided equal funding and space — which basically demonstrates how outrageous these accommodations are.”
Catholics could demand crucifixes and rosaries, Pagans could demand candles, Methodists could demand casseroles
… as a Reformed Charismatic, I’m trying to figure out what I could demand. Tulips? A framed photo of John Piper or CJ Mahaney? There’s gotta be something.

Well, I demand a place to lay hands on people for healing. I also want to be able to pray in tongues in a quiet place where no one will confuse me for a muslim or someone speaking a foriegn language. When they are done with that, I want a Bible in every cubicle so I can read while I pee.
I am sure I can come up with more later.
Olive oil dispensers for anointing?
Hey, that will work. Plus, we could ask for prayer cloth dispensers!
And, this could really get interesting. Catholics could ask for rosaries and confessional potties. They can pee and confess simultaneously. They could even ask for communion to be served!
Buddhists could request altars with Buddha statues. Pagans could ask for whatever they do.
Before you know it … bathrooms would be as big an average size house!
Don’t just limit requests to the bathroom, though… prayer rooms for Muslims are also being added at quite a few universities in Western countries. There was a flap last year, I’m trying to remember where I saw it, at an American college where Muslims took over a common prayer room and refused access to Christians.
Yeah … let a group of Christian try that in a mosque. I don’t see it happening.
Not likely. It looks like a urinal; it functions like a urinal; any charge of a hate crime will be a direct admission that the item is a religious ritualistic device, which will place this issue on a whole new level.
Two deranged individuals, Jim Sutter (supported by CAIR) and Bill Warner (claims Geert Wilders is a Nazi), are joining forces to defame Muslims Against Sharia. Before you buy into their lies and distortions, please consider the sources: http://www.phonyrev.com/ & http://insanepi.blogspot.com/.
