Something new on Netflix's Instant Play - The Stoning of Soraya M.
Set in 1986 Iran at the start of Khomeini's reign, director Cyrus Nowrasteh's drama tells the true story of Soraya (Mozhan Marnò), whose husband plots to have her falsely accused of adultery so he can divorce her and marry a young girl. French journalist Freidoune (Jim Caviezel) is pulled into Soraya's tragic story when he meets a desperate woman named Zahra (Shohreh Aghdashloo).
This is heartbreaking, chilling, and a must-watch.
(Yes, I'm on a Moonbattery kick lately...) The New York Times has their knickers in a twist over the conservative influence on the Texas history curriculum. Gregory of Yardale notes:
You're cheating yourself if you don't.
A U.K. millionaire is selling his business and getting rid of his possessions. He's going to help orphans in Uganda. "I try to live my life in a way that pleases God," he said. "I've never been more sure about anything in my life."
David Vitter's tele-town hall just robocalled me, and of course, I'm sticking around to listen to the bitter end. What's really hilarious is that every second or third question, the person also tosses in a slam against Mary Landrieu, commenting on her unresponsiveness especially with regard to the health care bill. If she were up for re-election this year, she'd be toast.

I’ll bet that she’s not the only one.
And that’s another good reason that my nine-year-old will not have her own cell phone any time soon.

This reminds me of the “Obama money” from Obama’s stash.

Transcript:
KEN ROGULSKI: Why are you here?
WOMAN: To get some money.
ROGULSKI: What kind of money?
WOMAN: Obama money.
ROGULSKI: Where’s it coming from?
WOMAN: Obama.
ROGULSKI: And where did Obama get it?
WOMAN: I don’t know. His stash. I don’t know. I don’t know where he got it from but he’s giving it to us, to help us. We love him. That’s why we voted for him. Obama! Obama!
Wintery Knight´s last blog ..MUST-READ: Which is worse: communism or Pepsi commercials?
Please tell me this is a joke. Even if it was it is not a funny. It amazes me how this is suppose to be a Chrisitan Blog since I found it under a Christian Blogroll yet I do not see anything Christian about it.
Poetic, there’s a link up and to the left called Christian Living. Click it. It amazes me that you somehow overlooked it. There are more faith-based posts in the Personal section, and very often there is overlap between religion and politics so there’s a surprising amount of faith-based writing in the Politics category. The ROP section also includes many posts about religious rights of both Muslims and Christians. And you might want to read the About page.
Do “Christian” blogs have to only be about Christianity? Are Christians supposed to only think about Christianity? I hope not.
