Texas school district lets staffers carry concealed weapons to class:

One school district is telling teachers they can pack heat when classes begin at the end of the month.

The Harrold Independent School District in northern Texas says trustees voted to allow teachers to bring handguns on campus as long as they meet licensing and other requirements.

I’m betting there’ll never be a Columbine-style massacre in that school district.

Cockfighting will finally be outlawed in Louisiana:

On Friday, Louisiana will become the last state to outlaw the rooster fights, a move that cockfighting enthusiasts said marks the end of a rich rural tradition.

Other rich rural traditions we no longer practice in Louisiana:
- slavery
- not having electricity
- cooking all our meals in fireplaces
- using hand plows
- sharecropping

It’s called progress, rednecks. Deal with it.

Because no method of crowd dispersal, including spraying protesters with something smelly will ever be considered mild or safe enough for Israel to use.  And MSM reports of Palestinian complaints of skin rashes, burns, temporary blindness (all unsubstantiated) will commence immediately.

Good for France:

The French Foreign Ministry said the decision to ship 30 metric tons of supplies, including tents, grew out of concern for the growing number of victims and displaced persons and the “considerable damage” caused by the conflict.

A caller is holding Hannity to account as a Christian for his Edwards schadenfreude. He’s bringing up David and Bathsheba, and stating that David was forgiven. Hannity’s saying, sure, but there were all these dire consequences. Not exactly normal talk-radio fodder.
